If anyone is able to try out a fresh install with the powershell script on 0.13, would be good to get some feedback on how that's working

Hello! I am testing netclient 0.13.0 on windows 10. Fresh install didn't work. I was in my downloads folder running the command and it errors out trying to copy it over itself lol. Kind of an edge case I suppose. Manual install works but I noticed that it keeps trying to reach out to google and aws based IP addresses. There must be something builtin that's trying to call home maybe? Here are some examples

For sure, it's just a simple GET request. Only one of those IP's needs to be available, it will loop through till it gets a valid response. You just can't easily know a machine's public address without checking against a machine on the public internet.

My method of use in the win11 environment, share with you.

Sometimes it is necessary to run n.bat multiple times until no error is reported. Right-click to run with administrator privileges.

Win11 client accidentally disconnected, after the network is restored, you can ping netmaker-1, but it is not possible with any client until it restarts win11, this needs to be fixed.

Added, because it is a home network, after the disconnection and reconnection, the IP has changed,

strange, how did you install wireguard?

looks like a permission issue... you have to run cmd as administrator

reporting in that my windows testing is successful with the current version of the Windows

(the first upload was flawed, if someone possibly got that copy like I did), I used the installer linked here: https://docs.netmaker.org/netclient.html#installation I used the Windows wireguard installer 0.5.3 as provided on their page https://www.wireguard.com/install/ Just double clicked wireguard to install... accepting the UAP prompts, etc. With the bad netclient installer, i did get errors about "wireguard not found" ... as of today, the installer just ran and was fine. this provides the Netclient GUI and i actually used that to join 2 networks, just pasting in the access key. Works fine for me.

we need to get a workflow for the MSI builder so i dont fat finger it. Unfortunately right now it's a manual process

not sure what you mean by this. Is the GUI not showing up when you search for "netclient" on your system?

On windows run netclient with no arguments. GUI is only available in windows and mac packages. On Linux you have to download linux-gui from the releases page.
