@jolly-london-20127 so did a fresh install server install on ovh. Installed 2 clients at my hone network, one as a linux VM, one on a separate network at home as a Linux VM. These can ping each other and ping the vps server I install client on an off site fresh windows box and it will not ping the 2 other Linux boxes. It will ping the vps server

Do I need to manually hit the UDP hole punching toggle on each client? The default network has UDP hole punching enabled.

@limited-psychiatrist-6170 you do need to enable udp hole punching on each client, or alternatively port forward to your machine. If forwarding, you'll need a different IP for each additional machine on the same LAN (e.g. 51822). And for Windows, a reboot is still needed on occasion and is always worth a shot if you're looking for the effects of any changes. Don't forget to add the network range in Windows Firewall as well.

Are you installing with the PowerShell script? I noticed recently that running the manual join command on the client added netclient.exe to the windows firewall automatically. Your could try netclient uninstall, then the join command and see if it helps

Anyone run into the issue where the communication network works fine but a created network afterward doesn't? I have a node that can ping the netmaker server over the built-in comms network, but can't ping it in the network that I built. The server gives logs messages of successful checkins, my netclient config gets updated from changes I make in the webUI, I just don't understand why I can't get any meaning traffic to flow

I think it's a node issue, as I have another node on the same network that can talk to the server, and vice versa

are the network settings (hole punch ) on that network the same as the comms network?
